Introduction to Sightseeing in Style

Let’s start with an introduction. My name is Sarah Beth and I am a Social Media Manager based out of Upstate South Carolina. Welcome to my blog!

At age 5 or 6 I knew I wanted to travel. I grew up watching movies and television shows in far away places. It was my first glimpse of what I could explore if I had the chance one day. As I got older, the curious and adventurous side of me grew exponentially as I started to experience new places and cultures.

Traveling solo didn’t become a passion of mine until I studied abroad in Europe. While I was there with a group of people, I traveled to and from Europe by myself and went on solo excursions during my stay. As an introvert, going exploring on my own was such a breath of fresh air and gave me time to re-energize. I felt empowered doing things on my own in a foreign country and since then, I prefer to travel solo!

Growing up, one of my main methods of expression was through my wardrobe. I’ve always considered my outfits & accessories a reflection of my interests, feelings, moods, etc. Over time, I’ve developed an appreciation for well-thought out ensembles and I spend a TON of time researching local style prior to traveling to a new destination.

On this blog, I’ll combine both my love of travel and style to provide valuable destination, packing & local style guides. Plus, I’ll share some of my other interests here and there! If you know me, you know I love a good latte and I’m a complete movie and book geek - you will definitely find me visiting some famous movie scenery around the world!
